"As I said in the past, in my opinion Slash is the embodiment of Rock N Roll. The look, the sound, the attitude - Slash checks all the boxes when it comes to being a Rockstar. I had painted Slash a few years back and hadn’t planned on revisiting him so soon, however I was presented with the opportunity to attend and display some of my Gun N Roses inspired art at a fan club pre-show party prior to a GNR concert. After agreeing to participate, I made the decision to compose a new piece that could be unveiled at the party alongside my previous GNR pieces on display.
